Last night I slept!
Such a longed for and missed event that I woke and realised I needed to share.
My kid, we call him squid, gave me the biggest gift a 13 weeks old baby has to give.
He left me alone for 2 sessions of extended sleep. Admittedly, I had to go to bed at 7:30, and he woke at 4:30 with a blocked nose… but in between, I got to dream, snuggle with my better half, steal the duvet and then kick it off, because you know if you’ve breastfed, you get the sweats!
So refreshed do I feel, that I accepted an invite to go out with the lez fingers. Roller derby no less!
